“Everything that we need for our survival and well-being depends, either directly or indirectly, on our natural environment. Sustainability creates and maintains the conditions under which humans and nature can exist in productive harmony, that permit fulfilling the social, economic, and other requirements of present and future generations. Sustainability is important to make sure that we have and will continue to have, the water, materials, and resources to protect human health and our environment.”

At Advance Valves, we believe and practice following Sustainable Business Practices:

  • Sustainability is incorporated into corporate strategies and reflected in our business goals. We have adopted Solar Energy as a primary source of energy in our plants located in Noida, UP and Himachal Pradesh. One of our plant located in Himachal is certified as first Green building in commercial category (Una District). This building is constructed with Fly Ash Bricks that helps in Energy conservation with a provision of using maximum natural light in Office & Shop floor. The plant has a solar system that generates 125 kVA for its own usage and has a provision of back to power grid.
  • We partner with Employees & Invest the time in training them on the importance of sustaining the environment and share what the organization is doing to help conserve resources. We solicit additional ideas from employees for resource conservation. Zero Plastic canteen is one such idea adopted by us.
  • Conserving our water is something we all participate in by reducing the opportunities for wasting this valuable resource. For example, we have converted to energy-efficient faucets, toilets, and lighting to save water, energy, and money. We also practise rainwater harvesting in all our locations. The above-mentioned plant in Himachal has a Water harvesting tank with capacity of 1.5 lac litres.
  • We maintain a list of sustainable friendly vendors and make it a priority to use organizations that embrace sustainable business practices.
  • We have developed an in-house program for recyclable products like fluorescent lightbulbs, electronics, computers and monitors, paper products & supplies. We pursue a zero-waste disposal policy in all our locations.
  • We strive to use green cleaning products and non-chemical products for pest control and weed management. We use our chemical vendors to help train employees on the proper use and disposal of chemicals.
  • We look to purchase only Energy Efficient Electronic Products and use environmentally friendly settings on office equipment.
  • Further we have developed sustainability work policies and procedures like, power down equipment at the end of the day and enable energy savings settings on all computers and desktops.
